on february 20, saudi arabia rabig phase iii seawater desalination project set the guinness world record with 600000 cubic meters of fresh water per day. it received the guinness world record certificate and became the largest single reverse osmosis seawater desalination project at present in the world.
this project is located in rabigh city, saudi arabia. it is the first large-scale seawater desalination project undertaken by sepcoiii. with the joint efforts of all staff, the 30 day reliability operation test of the project was completed at one time on december 7, 2021, and the pac certificate was successfully obtained on december 22. the project officially entered commercial operation, realizing a major breakthrough in completing ahead of the contract period.
