at 18:00 on april 14,2023, the refrigeration station (dcp 1) of saudi red sea project and the cold water pipe network successfully established water circulation, successfully realizing the goal of supplying cold water node to red sea users, marking the successful completion of another important milestone of the project.
the underground cold water insulation pipe is the earliest physical project in the whole factory. the cold water pipe network is 16 kilometers, connecting the refrigeration station 1 (dcp 1) and 17 user side receiving points in the red sea new city. in order to ensure that the goal of supplying cold water node for red sea users is realized on schedule, the project department planned ahead and strictly checked, and quickly completed the chemical cleaning and commissioning of circulating pump of the pipe and cold water pipe network in the refrigeration station. the project department adheres to the concept of efficiency first, through design optimization, continuous innovation, optimize the site construction link, save the project cost. solid cooling center technicians through the valve selection, pipeline path, valve well structure size, water flange, road practice and backfill material part of the system design and construction optimization, not only save the cost and shorten the procurement and construction cycle, but also for shurayrah island refrigeration station 2 (dcp 2) and pipe network construction has accumulated valuable experience.
