on april 28, iraq garraf project succeeded of combustion engine ignition stable system operation which marks another milestone completed successfully.
the project adopts 3 pieces bhge 6b combustion turbine unit with a single-cycle installed capacity of 32mw, rated combustion turbine speed of 5163rpm. in order to ensure the smooth completion of gas turbine ignition, the project prepared a detailed construction plan in terms of safety, quality, progress and data collection. cooperating closely with bhge, the owner and major manufacturers, overcome the problems of short working hours and low efficiency during ramadan, the various installation and acceptance work are promoted with high standards. witnessed by the owner, all parameters met the design requirements, and the unit operated stably and normally, which was highly praised by the owner petronas.
