on the morning of june 23, mr. abdulla aripov, prime minister of prime minister of uzbekistan, and mr. jurabek mirzamahmudov, minister of energy of uzbekistan, led a delegation to inspect and guide the zelafshan wind power project contracted by sepcoiii's epc, accompanied by mr. normat tursunov, governor of navoiy region, mr. nazirbe, mayor of zelafshan city, the owner's masdar site management team and sepcoiii's project staff.
the zerafshan wind power project is uzbekistan's first large-scale wind power project, with a total installed capacity of 500mw. it is planned to achieve early production and power generation by the end of the year, and will become the largest wind power project in central asia.
accompanied by all parties, the premier and his delegation inspected key construction areas such as the wind turbine hoisting area, booster station, and wind turbine foundation, and listened to the overall construction situation of the project and the subsequent construction node arrangements. during the inspection process, mr. premier expressed appreciation for the high-quality construction technology demonstrated by the project, expressed gratitude to the employees of the project department for their hard work, and pointed out that the zerafshan wind power project is of great significance for ukraine's energy transformation and sustainable economic and environmental development.
on may 26th, the minister of energy of uzbekistan, mr jurabek mirzamahudov went to project inspection and guidance work.
on june 13, mr. abdullajon, director of the ministry of energy of uzbekistan, mr. islomiddin, deputy governor of navoiy region prefecture, and mr. nazirbek, mayor of zerafshan city, attended the first hoisting ceremony of the project.
the repeated visits of the prime minister of prime minister of uzbekistan and government officials reflect the importance that the uzbek government attaches to the project. sepcoiii's project team will continue to promote the project construction with high quality and efficiency, and contribute to improving the well-being of local people and helping local economic and social development.
