on september 8, a signing ceremony for the cooperative research on tower molten salt solar thermal receiver and other equipment technologies, jointly participated by harbin boiler company limited (hereafter "hbc") and zhejiang university, was successfully organized under the leadership of the sepcoiii. dai zengli, the deputy general manager and chief engineer of sepcoiii,wang fengjun, the deputy general manager of hbc, zhou hao,the deputy director of the state key laboratory of clean energy utilization at zhejiang university,and relevant personnel attended the meeting.
during the meeting, representatives from the three parties jointly signed documents such as the "tower molten salt solar receiver and other equipment technology research (cooperation) agreement" and the "molten salt tank design contract". the three parties once jointly built a molten salt system experimental platform for absorption/storage/exchange in 2016, forming a set of "tower solar thermal power plant key problem-solving solutions", which laid a solid foundation for this cooperation. based on the 100,000-kilowatt solar thermal (energy storage) project in ruoqiang of powerchina group, the three parties, guided by the sepcoiii’s extensive experience in large-scale solar thermal projects both domestically and internationally, focus on the significant needs of national energy security development, and fully leverage the professional advantages of all parties, conduct comprehensive research on core technologies while ensuring the design safety and stable operation of the receiver/sgs/molten salt tank in the ruoqiang project. further enhance equipment efficiency, stability, and economy. simultaneously, optimization of the research on multi-device joint control logic, using technical means to help reduce costs and increase efficiency, and achieve the goals of complementary advantages, resource sharing, and win-win cooperation.
